New Year's Eve

We had a very busy New Year's Eve day and night.  With the storm moving in tomorrow morning bales needed to be moved

Once that was done the bale spear taken off the tractor and the snow plow put on. The apartment guests left at 11:00 am and I had 2 hours to get the apartment cleaned up and ready for the next guest which coming in about then.  I needed to be at mom's at 1:00 pm and was only a minute late.  The Hospice people picked up all the equipment about that time then the new bed came a bit later.  They did not have a wheel chair but promised it would be here in a week or two. Meanwhile we will make do with the one from Old School center, Dan's school that burned down a few years ago.  Thankfully the wheel chair was  out on loan. Mark cooked the shrimp and prepared the salmon for tonight. I prepared the prime rib then took it over to mom's house so they could cook it while we were at church. Right after church we stopped at our house for the food and took it over to Joan's for the big party. We had a good time  playing games.

Below is a short video of the kids trying to get prizes. Each had 10 seconds.
Then came the adults.
We ate our big last meal of the year around 10:30 pm

Then headed out to the balcony for fireworks.

Below are a couple of videos.
Just before midnight Mark had the last prayer of the year and we were out on the balcony to wish everyone a Happy Healthy New Year.
The video was very short so I could put it down and also help usher in this new year with lots of noise. The noise went on for a few minutes, until our ears and throats were ready for a rest.
