Zeke Edwin Bork

Introducing Baby Boy Bork.. Born Jan 19th at 9:01 pm weighing in at 8 pounds 6 ounces and 20.5 inches long.  Meet Zeke Edwin Bork

Rhoda sent one more picture and called this one Kisses for Grandma!
Big sister Iris will be thrilled to welcome home her little brother.  A big part of today was spent driving.  The first place was to head to CEFCU to pick up some cash then driving all the way to a little town of Victoria to look at a camping trailer. This trailer sounded exactly what we were looking for except when I arrived and took one look, it wasn't. It was far from what had been advertised. The phone gps wasn't working today. I had to shut the phone off and start it again 3 times to get it to work. I was thankful I could remember the way home.  I think I lost a lot of function on the phone when it was updated.  The GPS is one function I really need so will have to figure out how to get that working again. Mom had another bad night. Very restless and uncomfortable and up a lot of the night. Anna stayed with her this afternoon and showed her Rhoda's videos of baby Zeke.  Mom was pleased and spent a lot of time giving Rhoda advice. When I got there she was sound asleep.  When Mark got home from work we went to look at one more trailer and this time it was a 5th wheel.  We didn't arrive until 5:30 pm but this was exactly what I was looking for. It needs work on one part of the outside but the inside looked great. We bought it. That is we gave them a deposit and will meet them at the bank to get the title hopefully tomorrow and get it home. What I was most excited about was the hitch. It already had the gooseneck adapter so I can haul it home.
The 2 slide outs make it very roomy.
The master bedroom has a king size bed and plenty of drawers, cupboards and closets. There is a pocket door that can shut and make the master bedroom private.  Right outside the bedroom is the sink and across the aisle is the toilet.

The shower is next to the sink and is quite roomy.

The living room has two easy chairs and a couch that can be made into a full bed. The dinette also can be made into a full bed.
The kitchen is well laid out with a double sink, a micro wave, 3 burner stove and an oven.
The fridge and freezer are good size.
These 5th wheels have much more storage than bumper pulls. I have plans for this and they don't include hauling. After it is fixed up I would like to try to rent it as an airbnb.  The last time we had someone ask to rent a trailer they wanted it parked out in the field away from any buildings. We put it in the outdoor arena, made a fire pit and the people staying marveled at the brightness of the stars. They loved the privacy, enjoyed hiking the trails and their dogs loved the freedom to run.  IF that works great but if not we will use it for family.  At 7:23 pm a booking for the apartment came in for tonight. I ran up to turn the lights on and the heat up.
