Mark set the kids table this morning before we left for church. We really should invest in some folding chairs. check out the variety of seating options for the kids.
Mom could not go to church this morning. We do not have a wheel chair that would work for her since Hospice took theirs back. Palliative care was supposed to have one in a week but that didn't happen. We should know by Tuesday if she will get the wheel chair that had been promised. They said they were waiting to hear from her insurance if she qualified for it. Meanwhile after church Molly and Gabe dropped off a wheel chair with foot rests so we can use that one at home, it just doesn't recline which mom would need if she goes to church and when she goes to the dentist or doctor but at least she can use it at her home and short trips. Above she is enjoying the sunshine sitting near the balcony door. We had a good day in church. Tim Funk had the morning message after that the business meeting for the year. Craig Stickling had the afternoon message. After church Mark went right to work spreading sand on the driveways out here and that really was needed. They were all iced over. He is taking sand out of the indoor arena but we had an abundance in there anyway. There was a big group that came out to enjoy the lake including most of my grandchildren.
The skating was perfect.
The family left the lake around 4:30 to come over here for dinner. We had roasted pork loin with mashed potatoes, gravy, steamed peas, green beans, salad, rolls and chocolate cream pie for dessert. After dinner Phil, Ben, Addyson and Nolan left for volley ball, the grandkids got out the crafts while the adults visited in the rec room.
They really had a lot of fun. If you would like to see the rest of the pictures of the crafts click HERE.
Below is a short video of them all working hard.
After crafts we had to try stepping through arms then standing. Jace had no problem.
