We awoke this morning to unexpected rain. It was a gift. This rain cooled the air so instead of the predicted 99 degrees we had a cool 85 degrees. Exactly the perfect day to go to Silver Dollar City. Almost all of our group went but I stayed home to watch River. They sent back a few pictures.
David and Stephanie's family also stayed as did Nolan, Abe, Eden and Zion. The kids had fun playing inside with the blowup toys.
Later everyone left for shopping except River, Mark and I. When they got back they headed right down to the pool as the day turned beautiful. When they were all tired of swimming we brought out the crafts.
Taunya and Ben made the dinner tonight and it was delicious. The roast beef was fork tender, the carrots and potatoes were well seasoned and perfectly cooked. That was served with a nice salad. We had warm baked chocolate chip cookies for dessert. After dinner it was time for the girls spa day. Taunya, Anna and Sarah gave pedicures to the older girls then the older girls gave pedicures to the younger girls. They all had facials. Elisabet and Eden were given masks instead of the painted on masks that hurt when removed.

A group went back to Silver Dollar City for the fireworks tonight. IF you would like to see the rest of the pictures from today click HERE. The news from home is not good for Loxley. He is still in the hospital at the vet clinic and it sounds like it will take a miracle for him to survive.
