Sarah arrived with the 3 girls for breakfast early this morning. I had gotten the biscuits baked earlier and the sausage was warming in the oven so the only thing left to do for breakfast was to scramble the eggs. Those were started and finished when Nolan arrived. The tent worked out well for them. The girls had so much fun camping. After breakfast the tent was taken down and put in the back of their van. The dew was very heavy this morning so the tent was going to be needed to be put back up in their yard and dried in the sun. The girls were sure happy about that. Not long after they left Phil and Anna's family arrived. They went out to the beach to enjoy the sunshine. Logan and Carli were here to start cleaning up after the big Halo game. They have been holding this competition since 2013 and the winner each year signs the board. Logan's team won this year.

Got Milk?
Quinton wasn't interested in that win, he was more interested in the toy tractor.
This room had 4 tv's set up in it and cords going to each one. They take this game seriously.
Ryan and Steven were coming a bit later to take the tv's back home. I'm not sure how long the game lasted but each year it goes on until the early morning hours.
At Middle Grove they were having the best time. Joshua caught a fighting striper.
Mike took Berlica, Bethany and Faith riding. Today they tacked up 24 year old Mika, 23 year old Sangria, 22 year old Lily and 4 year old Dancer. The slowest horse on the trails today was Dancer. The oldies had lots of energy and were excited to go. Diane sent back some videos The first video is the start as they leave the herd.
Below the herd is going back up the hill.
Below they are crossing the lake.
Below they are coming down the trails.
The last video is when they let the riding horses go. They take off to find the herd.
The couple getting married at the barn on Saturday came today to stake out where they would like to hold the ceremony. They chose the field by Joan's house. Mark and Mackenson mowed the area for them. They may need to mow again depending on the weather but this defines the wedding area well.
Phil and Anna took the volley ball net down in the gym and cleaned up the area. We will move the pickle ball nets to the wall and drape them with table cloths along with the other sports equipment. This evening Mark wanted a chef salad with a half of sandwich for supper. Watermelon was added along with a spoonful of cottage cheese for some calcium.
We have had no milk for a couple of days. Yesterday there was no milk to make the mashed potatoes so I substituted sour cream and added extra butter. Today I went to Aldi to buy a gallon of milk and was shocked to find they had NO milk! No skim, no 1% no 2% and no whole milk. At first I was incredulous and then angry. This is AMERICA and I can't believe we can go to a store and find the store out of milk. Do we live in Russia, or some communist country where shortages are the norm? I used to think well if things get bad we can still afford groceries but now it's not enough to have money if the current corrupt government causes shortages it looks like we will have to depend on ourselves and buy a cow. Ugh I didn't want to have to work that hard. Anyone have a nice young bred Jersey cow they want to sell?
