Free Heat

Today was a work day so right after the walk I went straight to the truck and horse trailer and backed it up to the barn to unload the bikes, scooters, chairs and other toys. Mark helped move them back into the barn then he took the horse trailer down to Tri County RV to have the axle worked on. He was hoping they would be able to order a new latch that got broken when trailering Lea and Thalia home but no luck on that. When he got back he called the phone number for Eclipes trailers. That man may be able to help him but we need to get the trailer back first.  I stayed at the barn to start preparing that for the Meister Christmas. We now have it set up to seat and serve 120 people.

When Mark got back he brought his label maker over and started labeling.

The rest of the laundry was finished from the guests that left yesterday. The chimney sweep came for the apartment chimney today and not only cleaned it he also got out a dead bird. That wood burner is now working perfectly. I'm thankful.  I was wondering what to serve the Berean volunteers tomorrow when I remembered Melanie's present.
That had the most delicious gingerbread I've ever tasted. Yes I ate one but there are still enough to serve tomorrow.
Mike went to Middle Grove to check on the horses and sent back this picture.
The horses were all spread out grazing. I'm thankful they are still grazing this late in the year. Each day that we don't have to feed hay is a gift. When he got back he worked with Lea again loading and unloading. She is walking quietly in even in the side small door. Today we tried shutting the side door and when we did she immediately started throwing herself backward. So the next time we left the side door open and shut the back door. She stood there but was shaking in fear. At one point she jumped out of the side door and ran to Evan. It is just crazy how she panics when either trailer door is shut.
Once Lea was put away Mike brought Dancer out to show her new trick.
This evening was the girls volleyball games.
They had a lot of fun volleys.
Irelyn, Crew, Tate, Willow and Willow's fiancée Bradley came in just as the games were ending.

Sarah posted Eden and Zion's school pictures. These girls are growing up so quickly.

We have a fire in the living room wood burner and it is working so well the room is a balmy 75 degrees.
I'm so thankful for this free heat.
