We had another hot day and hot morning for our walk. Joan took her family garage saleing and Ruth just did one round as she was supposed to baby sit Dexter today. I went straight to mom's after the walk to take her to Bereans. Not long after we got there we got a text from Ruth that Anni was in labor and isn't due for 5 more weeks. Of course we prayed for both Anni and the baby at our 9:30 am prayer time. Below are a few pictures of our morning there.
We had a good morning there.
Skip was sending out 200 Bibles to the Texas prisons and jails today. It is great that we are able to get these Bibles to Texas again. We were struggling with this as the mail rooms in the jails and prisons were rejecting them. We dropped off 9 Bibles and the studies going out at the Hanna City post office on our way home. Not long after getting home Ruth sent word that Anni and Matt's new baby was born and all was well. Anni went to the birthing center for her regular appointment they sent her right to the hospital in Bloomington as she was in active labor and just 40 minutes after arriving her 5lb 12oz baby boy was born. Pictures will be posted once Anni and Matt announce. Stephanie brought Rizzy to stay with us for the next week and also brought the kids out to swim. Anna was at the lake with her children and Sarah was also at the lake with her children. Joan's kids and the family currently staying with her also all came over to swim. For a while the lake was crowded. Some of the kids came in the gym to play then back out to swim.
Mark was busy spreading manure and Rizzy was having fun hunting for rabbits.
Not long after I went back home Diane called to say we needed to have Molly put down. She was in kidney failure and had lost the use of her back legs. Mom had been holding her and made the decision. They tried to call the vet mom uses for Molly but no one at the clinic would answer the phone. Diane asked if we could take her to Hoerr vet clinic. I called and they told me if we could get her there before 5:00 pm they could take care of her and this was at 4:15 pm Diane asked me to come with her to hold Molly. Right then Berlica came to the door to tell me Irish was bleeding out of her nose. I went up to the barn and was shocked to find the side of her face twisted and she was struggling to breath. I asked Berlica to put Irish in the stall then called Mike to see if he would check on her as we were on our way to the vet. He called back not 5 minutes later that Irish was dead. She walked into the stall, laid down on the hay and just died. We pulled in at Hoerr Vet clinic in shock. Dr. Hoerr was waiting for us and first gave Molly something to relax her.
While we were waiting for Molly to fall asleep I told Dr. Hoerr about Irish to see if he had any idea what could have happened. He was sure it was an anuerysm that burst or a hematoma that burst and the facial twisting was because the nerve on the side where her nose was bleeding had been affected by that which caused her face to twist. There was nothing we could have done for her. That made me feel better. It just went so quick. Once Molly was sleeping peacefully Dr. Hoerr gave her the shot which stopped her heart. Back at the farm Mike was digging graves. Molly's grave is over by mom's house and Irish's grave is over near the outdoor arena. The problem that we now had was how to get her big body out of the stall barn and to the grave. Spark was called to run the yanmar, Mike put in a pulley system using the skid steer and the yanmar.

Irish was only 8 years old. We will really miss her. Today we had a new life then had to say good by to mom's companion Miss Molly and our Irish. The Lord gives and the Lord takes, blessed by the name of the LORD. We thank HIM for the many wonderful years mom had with Molly and the 6 years we had with Irish.
