I was on the early shift this morning with mom. Mark offered to pick up 4 specials, home made tenderloin and fries from the warehouse for lunch. Today was the big volley ball tournament Phil and Anna were playing in so the girls came to our place. They arrived about the same time as Mark with the food. Each of those tenderloins were as big as a plate. One of them easily fed mom, aunt Jinnie and me. Mark split his with Taegan while Kensley and Braelyn shared. There was an entire one left for Karin, plus the girls took two boxes of left overs for their parents. After lunch the girls were put to work making rice crispy balls.

Tournament Time
We also made some cookie batter than needed to be cooled in the fridge for about an hour before baking so the girls brought out the painting supplies and made some beautiful art work.
They were learning about the Chicago fire and each of them made a painting about that fire. Check out the smoke picture from Taegan.
The cookies were baked and turned out to be delicious. Phil and Anna's team won every game and ended up the champions of the tournament and brought home the trophy.
It was not a nice day, cold, windy and rainy all morning then cloudy, windy and cold all afternoon and evening. Irish and her colt were put out in the field but for only a coupe hours before bringing them back inside. I didn't take my phone or camera with me but Taegan and Kensly had fun petting him. He stood nicely for them. We came in so cold that Mark brought in more wood and we made a fire. The house is now toasty warm.
I turned the volume down as Mark was listening to Jordan Peterson on the Bible titled The Book That Changed My Life.
