Revelations

My computer was no longer working when I got home from Berean this afternoon. This old trusty laptop was pulled out. It will work in the short term but has a lot of limitations. I heard today of a man named John Rich and how he wrote a song about Revelations and immediately thought of the song, John the Revelator he saw Jerusalem coming down. John Rich wrote this song he named Revelations with Divine help. He claims God sent this song to him, the story of how this song came to creation is posted on 'X with Tucker interviewing John. If interested in seeing the interview click HERE.  If you just want to see and listen to this new song it is posted below.

After the storm last night we were pleased to see another inch and a quarter of rain and expected to see lots of branches down but thankfully there were none down on the main drives, just lots of small branches and a big tree down by the lake. When we reached Joan's house her trampoline was upside down. Joan told us they saw it lift up and head to the house so quickly went out, took it to the drive to flip it upside down when a gust came and lifted not just the trampoline but Joan too dragging her and the tramp close to the house, thankfully it stopped before slamming them into the house. The damage at her house was her hibiscus plant, it sheared off the branches at the base and that plant was just about ready to bloom.
Joan couldn't go on the walk, one of the campers came back with a brake problem and Joan needed to drive that to Rieker's (East Peoria Tire) for repair.
The camper rental has been more busy this year and since they are being used a lot there have been more to repair on them. The camper above went up and down mountains. No wonder the brakes needed repair. From there she needed to go to Tri-County RV to pick up the camper that needs the slideout fixed and deliver that to the repair shop going to fix it.
Ruth, mom and I had a good morning with the other volunteers at the Berean office. We didn't arrive until after 9:00 am and everyone there was already hard at work.

At 9:30 am Marvin's alarm goes off for prayer time. After the prayer Skip gave us the update below After Skip talked, Marvin shared a letter from Paula (one of our graders).
We moved into the other room to get a big order of studies going out for 2 different prisons in Texas. Below we are working under Vonnie's tutelage.
We really do enjoy working together.
We drove straight to the Hanna City post office to drop off the mail and only then realized none of us had our purses, none of us had any money. This wouldn't have been a problem but each study going out needed a 5 cent stamp applied as the postage went up and our postage machine didn't update correctly. I left all the mail with Rachel the post mistress took mom home, grabbed my purse and drove back with my wallet. Our post office is small and they only had 2 sheets of 5 cent stamps so I to buy penny stamps and had to spend quite a bit of time applying those stamps to each envelope going out today. I called Skip and he is going to buy more of the 5 cent sheets so we can put those on each of the studies going to church to be graded on Sunday.  When I finally got home Mark and Mackenson were busy cleaning up from the storm damage. We have some repairs, but Meister Heating really had problems. They had no electricity, their phones weren't working, Phil's cell phone wasn't working as the tower was damaged. People were calling me to see if I could reach Meisters.
I've been working on trying to get the desktop computer back up and running but have finally given up and have it disconnected and will send it to Philip. Praying he can at least get the information off of it that is needed.
