Bulu was teased at 7:00 am and she really is in season. Mike came over to help with the cover and this morning she stood well. Valiant was a little difficult. He is much more interested in Jewel but she is his half sister and so we are using Evan for her. Her scent must be much stronger than Bulu's. We are all back from camping and able to walk this morning. We got to hear how nice that turned out both in Bluffton and in Galesburg. Spark was working in his barn so we stopped to admire the cement floor. This is new since the tree damage.
We spent a little long visiting so Ruth went to mom's to help with the van while I took the golf cart home to grab my purse and the white mailbox. When we arrived at the Berean office everyone was already hard at work. Leila and Bruce brought our treat today. I was busy with the computer so only took two pictures.During our break I mentioned that I had heard Skip had a church key. Skip told us, "yes so that we never get locked out again." Skip really does take after his grandfather, Grandpa Meister. Grandpa who was born in 1891 was drafted during World War 1 then was sent to prison for refusing to carry a gun. During those prison years he dearly missed worshiping the LORD with brothers and sisters in church that when he was freed he determined he would never miss a church service again to the best of his ability and health. When the church doors were opened he was there. Mom and I dropped the Bibles and studies going out at the Hanna City post office. After getting home I went to work on the letters for the jails and prisons in Illinois. Those were typed up, printed then put with a postage paid business return envelope and are now ready for mailing.
