Rainy Tuesday

The rain was predicted to start around 1:00 am but it didn't. Instead the clouds made for a beautiful sunrise and at the end of the day a gorgeous sunset. Below is the sunrise just as the sun actually made it's appearance.

The clouds soon covered the rising sun but the rays were much too strong and broke through with a brilliant gold.
This morning mom wanted to use the hot tub so the rest of the clan of those who are down here were called and all the women showed up to help. We had one holding each of the handles of the sling and one on the belt with Berlica pulling the wheel chair out of the way once we had mom off the chair.
She was lowered gently into the water and then came the smiles.
One more thing on her bucket list was accomplished.
When she was ready to get out we used the same method. The sling worked out well. It was raining by the time we made our way up to the condo for lunch. Today we had a light lunch of tuna salad with left over French fries as Aunt Jinnie was taking us all out to Lamberts, the home of the thrown rolls for dinner.  Diane, Rhonda and Rachel went shopping at all the local thrift stores. Diane came home with a new hoodie sweat shirt for the coming Christmas season.
We left for Lamberts at 5:00 pm and had to wait a few minutes to be seated. The only thing we could figure out was everyone in Gulf Shores had the same thought as ours to go to Lamberts for dinner on a rainy day. We had a good time catching rolls.

Our meals were huge and with all the pass-a-rounds we all needed boxes for the left overs.
While we were in Lamberts we started getting pictures from Rachel and Rhonda of the beautiful sunset on the beach. The pictures below are from them.

They were too good not to share. Once back at the condo we played games until 9:30 pm. Mom and Aunt Jinnie were ready to go to bed at that time. The rest of us finished the game and now Faith is working on her Algebra 2 while I post the pictures of today.
