Good Fishing

I was out on the balcony enjoying coffee early this morning. The moon was just a sliver in the sky as the sky started to lighten in the East.

That tiny dot above the glow is the moon but the picture below shows it zoomed in.
Joan brought mom out to see the sunrise. She was able to use the ramps to get mom's eyes over the railing.so mom could see the sun come out of the Gulf.
IT really was another beautiful morning.
Below is a video of the sun rising this morning. Be patient and you can see how it looks like it is melting into the water then like a hot air balloon.
When Aunt Jinnie awoke she joined mom and the two really enjoyed the golden rays of the sun this morning.
After breakfast mom got her swimming suit on but then decided it was pleasant on the balcony and stayed up there watching Joan and the kids as they fished and swam. It was so hot and sunny they needed to keep the umbrella up and something on the legs to stop from getting sunburned.
We were looking down at the Gulf Water when Joan saw something huge swimming. It was a manatee. I didn't get a good picture of it but it was swimming close to the shore heading East. Every once in a while would come up to breath.
The fishing was really good today. Spark caught a huge red fish.
Below is the video of him pulling it in. Joan needed to get the net so the line didn't break.
Joan had a pole out, a fish grabbed the line, jerked to pole out of the holder and into the water. Joan jumped in to grab the pole and was able to save the pole and bring in a big whiting.
Below is a picture of that fish.
There was a full cooler full by the time they quit.
We are going to have a fish fry tomorrow at Beth's. Greg and Spark took them over there to clean them all. This evening Mom, Aunt Jinnie, Diane, Beth, Greg and I went to Undertow for dinner. Tonight they had all you can eat of the Royal Reds (a deep water shrimp that taste like lobster), sausage, potatoes and corn on the cob for $12.99 a person.
After supper Rachel brought her guitar over and was sang around the 'campfire'
After everyone left we played games and again Joan and I lost every game. We are on a losing streak that is now 9 games long. Almost long enough to think just maybe we don't really know how to play very well. Diane has moved over to this condo as hers is rented for this next week. Diane, Faith, and Joan left to go sit in the hot tub but I need to go to bed. It has been a long day. Mike sent the picture below of sunset at Middle Grove.
