Another Wonderful Sunday

Well the new coffee maker is working and is programmed to go off at 5:00 am. At 6:00 am I went  up to check on Sheena and her colt. Sheena had delivered the placenta but had lost quite a bit of blood. That was cleaned up, the colt's cord iodined, Sheena fed and watered. She was a little lethargic but the colt is doing well.  Mike named him Loxley and really does not want to sell  him so will change the website tonight. I kept checking on Sheena with the cameras and before church started was sure she was going to be ok.  We had a wonderful day in church. Craig Stickling had the first message on Pentecost going all the way back to the first and then the last.  Gregg Rumbold had the afternoon message on Timothy 5 the importance of family. After church Tom stopped in to check out the pressure reducing valve we need on the house and also will order a new fitting for the leak under the kitchen sink in the 5th wheel. For dinner tonight the kids provided the entire meal. That is 2 Sunday's in a row, they are spoiling us and today was truly a day of rest.  We celebrated Jack's, Jace's and Israel's birthday after dinner then everyone headed over to the playground.

Lots of pictures were taken. If you would like to see them click HERE. I also made a video of some of the activities happening at the playground and lake today.
Today was the Sunday School picnic. Diane and Joan took mom. Everyone there had a wonderful time.  Diane said it was well attended and even if mom doesn't go next year she is going. My airbnb guests took some pictures of Sheena and her colt last night and sent them to me.

After supper was done and the orphan colt fed Sheena and Loxley were moved out of the stall and into the indoor arena.
I didn't stay and watch long as the kids and grandkids were already at the playground but below is a short video of his movement. He is not even 24 hours old when this was taken.
By the time I got there the volley ball was in full swing while most of the younger ones were swimming.

Anni and I were talking and we looked over at one of the white pines mom planted years ago.
I remember when this was a small tree but now it is huge and the kids have a fort under it. Phil and  Anna got a fire going and everyone enjoyed roasting marshmallows over the fire. Anna was kept busy making s'mores. I still needed to make up 2 gallons of mare milk replacer for the colt and get that out to him so left while it was still light out. It was another wonderful Sunday.
