Another beautiful day. This one is to be our last for almost a week as rain moves back in. I left right after our walk for the Peoria post office to pick up the Berean mail and from there straight home. It was so nice outside I let the horses in the field for a while to graze and run. They had so much fun again. Dancer was showing off some of the moves she inherited from her sire Evan.
Below is a short video of them having fun in the field.
They soon settled down to graze.
I had to call them in though as the grass is still to short. At least they got a taste of it. Irish is shedding big time.
She was loving the grooming which was helping get rid of all that excess hair.
I went inside to make the dessert for Berean. After Mark got home we took the truck over to the wood pile and hooked up the trailer Mark and the grand children were loading on Friday and hauled that to Fedi and Ruth's house. Mackenson, Berlica, Taegan, Kensley and Steven all helped unload that trailer.
The video is short as I needed to get to work too.
When the trailer was unloaded the kids gave Fedi's dog attention.
The reason why Fedi is in a wheel chair, for those that don't know, is he had a hip replacement that kept popping out, had the second replacement which was a bigger size but that got infected and now there is NO hip joint at all in there, just a spacer with some special antibiotic beads. Those have to stay in for 3 months as they need to make sure the infection is gone. Then and only then they will be able to give him a hip joint. Fedi can not put any weight on that leg. We had a productive day today but I didn't get the horse trailer cleaned out. Rain is moving in after midnight tonight 100% chance after midnight and it looks like rain all day tomorrow.
