First Day of Spring
This first day of spring was beautiful. We had sunshine, church, fun fellowship and of course food. I headed up to the barn early to check on Irish even though her udder was not full nor was she waxing. She was fine. I worked on 2 of the waterers that seemed to be just a little too full. Both were overflowing but not by much. We left for church at 9:15 am. David has the first service on Psalm 69.
Craig Stickling had the afternoon service which was the communion exhortation. As soon as we got home I pulled the hamburger out and made the patties then sliced the onions and tomatoes. Rhoda and Lee were first to arrive so Iris came out with me to feed the cat. On the way back we went in to check Irish's udder. Iris was petting Irish when Irish reached around to sniff her. Iris laughed and had to go inside to tell her mom "Irish sniffed me!"
Lee, Rhoda and Iris decided to walk over to the playground and I got the chance to snuggle up with Zeke. When Braelyn came in she wanted a turn.
We had a simple meal tonight but all seemed to enjoy it. Ben and Taunya's family couldn't come as they are in Tennessee. After dinner everyone started making their way over to the playground. Some of the girls were ready to ride the golf cart over.
This is the first day of spring and it was really a perfect day to start the outdoor volley ball. The kids had fun on the playground. It is so good to be back outside. Poor Zion really wanted to do crafts and brought one over to work on at the playground.
The other kids headed for the equipment.
Some of the big kids took the littlest ones and went on a walk.
We had a good turnout and lots of fun games. I didn't stay to watch any as I took the kids on a golf cart ride over to see the horses and then to check out the camper.
