Soothing Sound of Rain

It was warm this morning for our walk. Rain was predicted to start around noon so Joan skipped the walk and was busy burning the dam going over to her house.

After the walk I worked in the house while listening to Rick Kaisner on AC Central. Around 10:00 am I left for Sam's club to pick up food for David and Stephanie's family. After dropping off the food stopped at Meisters to drop off the Bible studies for Amanda to take to her mom for the Roanoke church to grade. I am very thankful for all the willing graders, we are easily keeping up with grading those studies each week. By the time I got home it was starting to rain but soon that storm blew over and we only got a small shower. The fields are dry but more rain is predicted tonight. Mark, mom and I went to church tonight for Family night. Mike Kaisner had the message on Hebrews 11, the heroes of Faith. On the way home we could see lightning flashing in the west and just as Mark was putting the car in the garage the rain started. The wind has just now picked up.  It is 75 degrees outside so we will get to sleep with our windows open listening to the rain falling on our metal roof. Such a soothing sound we will sleep good tonight.
