Garage Sale

I left this morning at 6:00 am to drive to David and Stephanie's house so David could leave for work on time since Stephanie was still in the hospital. The only GOOD thing about that is her mom is home from vacation and is spending time with Steph and making sure she is attended to when needed. This Covid stuff has really been awful with the no visitor rules. Israel was dropped off at school then Elisabet and I headed here to the farm. We got stuck in the middle of a convoy of army trucks that were all heading toward Hanna City.  There were 2 in front of me and 2 behind.

One just has to wonder where are they going in Hanna City and WHY!  Do we have some kind of 'patriot' camp I never heard of? Is it because Hanna City is a hotbed of Trump supporters? The yearling paddock needed a new round bale and after that as done we went on adventure to find pretty or different things. Below are a few things we found.
Above first she found the cup with the yellow lid and green straw then put that down and held up a rod. Below she saw a bright green frog.
The resident geese pair saw us and the gander came swimming up to make sure we didn't get too close to his mate.
Rizzy was busy hunting rabbits and was sure she smelled one.
Jewel's filly and Maberry (Sheena's filly) were watching us as we took the golf cart into the pond pasture which is behind their paddock.
We saw Lola and checked her udder. It is still not bagged up and she is due in 3 days.
We were heading back when mom called to report there was a good garage sale just off Smithville road a block after Cameron. Of course Elisabet and I had to go. We found toys for boys, children books and Elisabet found a snowman that is suppose to talk but it needs a new battery. This was the first garage sale we've been to this year and had so much fun shopping that it was hard to pull Elisabet away. She kept finding things her maMa would want or Israel would want. She also needed to try everything out. We had to leave to pick up Israel from Peoria Christian . He was pretty thrilled with what we found for him but was disappointed that he couldn't go too. We pulled up at their house the same time as David did and he helped carry in the treasures. Martha Kay was there and is going to take the kids tomorrow. She brought Stephanie home from the hospital. We are sure praying for healing for her. Mark was home when I finally made it back at 5:00 pm. His knee bled through his brand new trousers Rhoda bought for him. Those were left soaking in cold water while I drove to Kroger to pick up his prescribed antibiotics. When I got back he was given instructions on how to clean up his knee. He didn't want me to do it, it is much too painful.
Pictured below was when he finished cleaning.
While I was getting the mail our airbnb guest arrived. I drove the golf cart up to the apartment to welcome her. She was pleased with the place.  It is after 8:00 pm so will head to bed in a few minutes. That bed is sure going to feel good tonight.
