Another Sunday, Another Great Day

Another amazing Sunday. Sunday's truly are the best around here from morning until WAY after dark. We started with church. Dave Obergfel had the first message and Mike Kaisner had the second with a snack and visiting in between. I drove mom and Aunt Jinnie home. Diane and Mike drove Barbara and Janet back to mom's house. Karin took 7 horses out on the trails with our cousins and they had a fast fun trail ride. The kids all came over for dinner which was just pizza then over to the playground for games. Rhoda took Jury out to the round pen for all those that wanted to practice training.

Above they were on the way and trying to pose for a picture, below is a much better picture.
Mom, Aunt Jinnie, Janet, Barbara and Diane were in the house finishing up dinner when I arrived. I sat next to Barbara who just happens to be the oldest cousin on my mom's side.
They finally headed out to watch some of the volley ball games.  Below Mark and Ron are laughing at some of the funny volleys.
The games were fun to watch.

Sarah took a group out on the golf cart giving them a long ride to see the dinosaur eggs and the alligator swamp.
The kids picked cat tails, pulled out the fluff and got a fire started.
Of course they had a little help.

Mark brought over his leaf blower which really got the fire started. Kensley was showing me how to write with a glowing stick.

Spark brought out his guitar and we enjoyed the evening singing around the fire and visiting.
The volley ball players left and the kids took over the court to play in the sand.
The fire burned perfectly for s'mores and then when it went to a soft glow Joan left to bring over her telescope.
The lights were turned off and we all took turns looking at Jupiter with it's many moons and then Saturn. We were pleased that we could see the rings around Saturn with this telescope. The final planet we looked at was Mars. Amazing we could see 3 of the planets tonight. It was pretty late when we finally all left to head to bed. What a good day.
