Another Fall

Ruth took Aunt Jinnie and mom to the airport this morning. We were all sad to see Aunt Jinnie head home, her visit here has been wonderful.  I spent most of the morning moving bales putting 2 in the middle paddock, one in the paddock next to Evan's and feeding out square bales to the weanlings. Tomorrow Sangria and Cookie's paddock will need a new round bale and so will Evan's paddock. Both of those paddocks are almost out but the horses have a lot to clean up before I move another in. When Mark got home we called Reikers to make an appointment to take the camper in for all new tires plus Mark took the spare off the Wolf Pup to get that also replaced. These campers will be for rent in the spring so we want to make sure the tires are all good. He is also going to grease the axles. Monday morning I'll be hauling in the Summerland camper.
We went over to mom's for church and just as I was walking in the door mom who was carrying a chair tripped and fell hard against the fire place. She hurt her left shoulder but we don't think it is broken. The fall was so hard it shattered her watch. We got her up and into her chair, put ice on the shoulder, gave her an Aleve then watched the church service. Gregg Rumbold had the message on Stephen.  After church we decided someone would need to spend the night with mom as she decided she would need to sleep on the chair. Anni offered and Joan, Ruth and I were thankful for her offer. When Mark and I were leaving mom was insisting Anni sleep in the bedroom but Ruth thought she should sleep on the couch just in case mom needs help getting up. We left them to work it out. When we walked out the door there was a huge crack of thunder and the rain came down in sheets. When we got home just a little soaked Emma was hiding in our bedroom. Hopefully the storm will blow over or we won't get much sleep tonight as Emma is afraid of storms.
