We left the condo just before 5:00 am and ran into Joan who also left her condo right before 5:00 am. We were able to follow her until we both needed gas and breakfast and stopped at a Waffle House near Montgomery. This was not a good stop, the waitress (only1) was rude and when I mentioned Joan's car was in a hurry moved even slower. That stop took a bit longer than a half an hour. Joan veered off going East at Montgmery as she was heading to Ellie's baptism in South Carolina. We didn't stop for lunch until 2:00 pm. The van ran well and it was nice to have enough room to spread out. I dropped off Rhoda first in Bloomington, then Taunya in Goodfield and Amy in Morton before making it here. I'll be heading to bed even before unpacking. I've been up since 3:00 am.
