It was raining when we met at mom's and we debated whether we should walk or not. Diane got there early and helped mom with her eye drops and mom wasn't quite ready to get up so we left her, walked in the rain over to Joan's and back to give the dogs a good run. After the walk Ruth left to take her dog back then came back to take mom to get her Covid test that she must have before her heart shocking experience on Monday. Ruth also took mom in to get an x-ray to make sure she hadn't broken anything. The technician didn't see any new fractures so mom is good to go for Monday. David and Stephanie had breakfast plans so Israel and Elisabet got to spend the morning with me. We did crafts and played ball inside as it rained and rained. After they left I took the golf cart up to the apartment to clean the floors for the group coming in this evening. Tonight is Hannah's personal shower with all the cousins. As soon as I finished I tried to park the Wolf Pup and unhook the van to take it over to Joan's but the van was dead. There were lights and a fan left running in the Wolf Pup which drained the van battery. When Mark got home we put it on a charger, then parked the Wolf Pup and plugged it by the barn to charge up both of those batteries, took the van to Joan's with a trickle charger and plugged that in there. They are leaving in the morning for Branson, MO taking Bill, Bethany, their 3 plus Joan and her 3 younger ones to see Noah. Sarah and Rhoda both came over late this afternoon to take things to the apartment for the shower. It is such a cold wet rain that all the horses were standing inside their shelters today. We don't usually see that but this rain just didn't want to quit. We have someone interested in purchasing Hadassah. If they buy they will only be buying Hadassah not her 2020 filly we named Maddalen. They want to come meet Hadassah but I would like to wait for the sun to shine before we bring her in and when I bring her in I may as well bring Jewel and her filly in so Maddalen and Jewel's filly can be weaned together.

Hadassah
These two fillies are just 2 days apart. Jewel's filly pictured below is sold.
Jewel's foals always have the most amazing movement. Jewel is bred back to Evan due June 6th, 2021. I will for sure get updated pictures of Hadassah's filly when we bring them in next week. Hadassah's filly is still available. She is 75% Friesian 12.5% Arabian and 12.5% Quarter but 100% gorgeous! Her dna testing show she has a gray marker so she should turn gray. Can you imagine a dapple gray with black mane and tail that LOOKS 100% Friesian. How unique she will be, for sure she will be a show stopper. She has the Friesian presence. The picture below was taken a month ago and at that time I thought she was one of the purebred Friesian colts we have at Middle Grove. I was trying to figure out which of our Friesian mares he (she) belonged to. I didn't post this picture on the website since it is the fence in focus but it shows her amazing well set on long neck, her thick mane and you can kind of see how thick her feather is in this picture.I actually looked under her belly as I thought she must be Rosaleigh's colt and was shocked to be looking at a filly. Imagine my surprise at that, then I was really confused. I knew she wasn't Tatiana's filly as that filly was standing next to her mom. Did we even HAVE another purebred Friesian filly? The mystery was solved by remembering Hadassah. This filly is registered and color dna'd with Friesian Heritage Horse International, papers are in hand. She is for sale for $5000.00.
