Isla NOW For Sale

We had a cold walk but went to Joan's and back to the golf cart then rode that over to the horse barn so mom and Aunt Jinnie could see the new to us camper. After they were taken back to mom's house I quickly had breakfast then drove over to pick them up for our work at the Berean office. They let me stop at Sam's club on the way to pick up a new full size waterproof mattress pad and a set of full size sheets for the camper as we don't have any that size. We still made it to the Berean office before 9:00 am.  IF you would like to read about our morning there click HERE. When we left there we drove straight to Mike and Diane's office for mom to sign papers. When mom and Aunt Jinnie were dropped off at the house it was past time for lunch and a nap. I didn't get the nap though, after lunch I took the car up first to the camper to put the new mattress pad and sheets on the bed and then to the apartment to start cleaning it for the next group. The apartment is booked for Hannah's personal shower on Friday then a family coming in on Saturday. I'm amazed at how busy the apartment has been this fall.                                                  This evening an email came in from the lady buying Isla. She would rather have a purebred Friesian filly next year so Isla is back for sale. Isla is a coming 3 year old Warlander mare out of Madiera, our tall IALHA registered purebred Andalusian mare and by our TALL, gorgeous, amazing Friesian stallion Valiant. She has the typical Valiant sweet temperament, the amazing movement and she really is gorgeous! The picture below was taken September 18th, 2020 so just a couple days more than a month ago.

She looks like a FULL GROWN MARE but won't be 3 years old until May 16th, 2021. She is already over 16 hands and should end up close to or OVER 17 hands. She really is quality and for sale now for $7000.00.  I'm starting to think maybe we are supposed to keep her SO if she doesn't sell we will be bringing her in for training then breeding her to Evan this spring and will just plan on keeping her. Isla is registered and dna'd in the Warlander book of Friesian Heritage Horse International.

It isn't easy finding a mare THIS amazing and this special AND ready to be trained for this price!     Tonight we are having a thunderstorm. It is a cold rain and will stay rain unlike Iowa that got 9 inches of snow yesterday.  We think it is because people must be decorating for Christmas too early! October is much to early for snow.
