We had another cold morning with rain predicted. I had the car heater on high while driving to church. Gregg Rumbold had the morning service and we were all glad to see Tim Roecker back on the pulpit. The second service Tim Funk gave the communion exhortation. Right after church I drove to Lacon, IL to look at a camper and ended up buying it. This is a 2011 smaller light weight camper but will easily fit a family for sleeping. The main selling point for me was the power awning. When I arrived it was pouring down rain and obviously not leaking. I'll pick it up tomorrow morning. The owners bought the camper new in 2011 and had all the little extras added.
Picture above at the back of the camper is a single bunk above a full size bunk and next to the bunks is the bathroom which is pictured below. The dinette folds down into a bunk for 2 children or 1 adult. At the very front of the camper is a jack knife sofa that opens up to a twin size bed. The galley area which includes a double sink, microwave, stove and oven is in the middle of the camper opposite the dinette. It is a space efficient design. It also comes with 2 propane tanks, and all the cords and tubes that usually go with a camper. There is a lot of storage that can be entered from either inside or outside.
Rhoda brought her two dogs Ruby and Hazel, Sarah brought her two dogs Arri and Ivy and Taunya brought her dog Rosie so we needed to get a group picture. It was utter chaos for a while.
Above left to right are Iris, Ruby, Zion, Ivy, Arrie, Eden, Rosie and Jace. Below are the purebred miniature Poodles. Left to right are Abe, Rosie, Iris, Hazel, Arrie, Eden, Ivy and Zion.
Rosie, Ivy and Hazel are all full siblings. Arri and Ruby are not related to any of them. There was volley ball tonight but it was too cold for most of the players to want to play and much to cold for us spectators. We ended up in mom's house visiting with Aunt Jinnie who leaves for her home in New Jersey tomorrow. The lady that bought Gideon, Soul's 2018 colt by Evan, posted the picture below.
