Super Moon

Another chili morning. The moon was almost full and is a super moon and still showing well this morning.

The mist was rising off the lake during our walk.
We stopped at the cabin to help Diane move in the piece of furniture she bought yesterday. It was heavy enough that it took all 4 of us ladies.
On our way over to Joan's we saw Spark bringing back the Kubota.
He walked back with us to his house to show us what he was working on for the campers.
There are 3 camper plugs and plenty of other outlets. He still needs to buy wire that will go from Joan's service to the box. We can borrow it and move it to the barn if we have anyone wanting to camp. He had the golf caddy, added the board then the electrical stuff and a hook to help hold the wire.
It was my turn to be at mom's and it was already after 8:00 am so I quit the walk and went straight over. We had a nice morning. The weather was so nice we stayed outside on the deck watching the birds and listening to the birds singing.
Below is a short video of a humming bird.
Joan arrived while we were eating lunch to pick up the sail boat. Below She, Faith, Mackenson and Berlica are loading it on Fedi's trailer.
We had just gone inside around 2:00 pm when Karin came home.  I left to start making the pizza for our meal at Norris tonight. I made 5 pizzas and was just taking them out of the oven when Mark arrived.  We loaded up the car with those, hotdogs, buns, ketchup and all the s'more stuff and took off for Norris. We were the first to arrive and got the gate open and the building open. David, Israel and Elisabet arrived right after us. They and Mark went swimming. They hiked all the way across the lake to jump off the double platform dock. I drove the car there to bring Mark and the kids back as it is a long walk. David and Israel were fishing off the close dock when Israel caught a huge bass. I had my phone on the charger back in the building so no pictures of it.  Not long after that David caught a huge catfish. About that time Joan pulled in with the motor home.
We helped unload before setting up for supper. By this time it was after 5:00 pm.

After supper out came the fishing poles.
Faith saw a baseball cap in the water so Joan caught that with her pole.

Next we hiked to the VIP dock. David caught a bluegill but no one else caught any. Berlica had a huge strike that immediately broke her line. Next we hiked to the floating volcano. No luck fishing there. About that time Mike and Diane arrived with big slabs of bacon so we started back to the beach to build a fire. The sun was setting as we were building the fire.

Ruth and Fedi arrived with their camper just in time for the camp fire.
The bacon was delicious. Next came out the marshmallows and of course the s'more stuff.
Mark and I left for home at 9:00 pm. The moon was just coming up over the horizon and was gorgeous.
So I started the blog with the moon and ended with the moon. The picture above is not true color it was bright orange all the way home.
