Right after our walk Lily was loaded, Diane helped by shutting the door once she walked into the trailer. I was on the way to Middle Grove by 8:15 am. The trailer was driven back to the big field, the horses were up in the trees but heard the trailer coming and came galloping down. The trailer door was opened but Dancer and Mika tried to get in the trailer with Lily with the rest of the herd all gathered around the back. I needed to use a lead rope to ask them all to move so Valerie could get to the trailer. As soon as she saw her mom inside she jumped in and the door shut. My next job was to get a halter and a couple lead ropes, one to tie the door shut once I was inside. Valerie was so busy nursing she didn't even care when the halter was put on her. I let her nurse until she was done then tied her and led Lily out of the trailer. Once the door was shut I started driving. Lily followed until we started heading down the hill then went back to the herd. Once back at the farm I stopped at the house and picked up 3 dewormers for the 3 weanlings. Valerie (Lily's filly) was given hers in the trailer and she stood very well for that. She also didn't do too bad getting out of the trailer and leading into the paddock with the other two weanlings, Tessa and Valentino. Valerie was tied so I could remove any burrs out of her mane and tail. She even had a burr in her ear and stood very well for that. She liked her ears being rubbed. Once she was let go she was glad to take over being the leader of this group of 3.

Success
Valerie (Lily's filly) is in the lead followed by Valentino (Tatiana's colt) and bringing up the rear is Tessa (Rosaleigh's filly).
Below is the same order. Valerie was born April 20th, 2022, Valentino was born May 8th, 2022 and Tessa was born May 23rd, 2022
They were getting along well so I left them so I could get some breakfast but then came back to work with Tatiana's colt, Valentino. He was tied, dewormed and groomed. He also had a burr in his ear and he also enjoyed getting his ear rubbed. His tail is very thick.
He did reasonably well with tying. Below is a video of him tied.
He was dewormed then was released after a very successful first tie since weaning. He was also very good for his deworming.
Above is Valentino Below is Valerie.
Below is Tessa. In the video below Tessa is getting a drink.
All 3 are now eating grain, drinking well and eating hay from the shelter. They are no longer calling for their dams.
I needed to be at mom's at 1:00 pm to relieve Rachel. When Karin got home I went back to offer them more grain and make sure all was well. At 4:00 pm Braelyn, Taegan and Kensley were picked up and brought here. When Mark got home he wanted to put the bale spear on the tractor and the log splitter. After getting that done. we started moving trailers from Joan's to the indoor arena for the winter. On the first trip over Taegan and Kensley came with us and were giving attention to Kabur and the cats at Joan's house.
We only got 3 moved before we lost daylight.
The last trailer has a power hitch and that was dead and the trailer not plugged in. Tomorrow I'll need to plug it in so that trailer can be moved. We have rain moving in but it isn't supposed to last all day so hopefully that can be done in the morning then brought over. Supper tonight was roasted chicken, wild rice and asparagus with coffee cake for dessert. The girls liked the dinner and finished up all the asparagus and chicken.
