Full House
Still cold but we were expecting a warm up of above freezing by afternoon. Mark checked church and the boiler wasn't working right. He and Geoff worked on that all morning making sure we were all comfortable. We had a special group arrive, they came on a bus from Mediapolis and Burlington and they had no idea where they were coming. It was called the Mystery Trip. All of us from Peoria were pretty thrilled when they ended up here. Tim Roecker had the morning message and David had the afternoon message. AC Central doesn't have the video up yet but the audio is posted.
When I was checking I found that David spoke in Princeville on Wednesday night. It was a topical and the title was Psalm 110, God's favorite song. They don't have video in Princeville yet but if you would like to listen to it just click below.
Joan brought mom and Aunt Jinnie to church but had to leave at noon for a wedding in Princeville so we traded cars and I took mom and Aunt Jinnie home. Karin was waiting so I left as soon as mom was inside so I could get the Sunday dinner cooking. Tonight we had pork roast, perfectly done if I do say so myself, served with mashed potatoes, gravy, green beans, salad, biscuits and for dessert cheese cake and brownies for those who don't care for cheese cake. Mark took some of the dinner over to mom's for that household. We had a full house, all 26 of the family came and not a single picture was taken, we were all just too busy enjoying each others company. The grandkids went out to play in the barn with the flashlights we keep on the fridge. By 7:15 pm they all left for home and the house became quiet. The house was chilly as both doors had kids going in and out most of the evening so Mark built a fire in the wood burner.
My last job of the day was to head back up to the barn to take care of Valentino. Tomorrow morning he will be moved into the indoor arena for some freedom.
