I was at mom's this morning by 7:30 to start cooking breakfast but that was put off for a few minutes as mom was enjoying a bath in the jetted tub. A beautiful white egret flew across the lake. I wasn't quick enough to get a good video.
Today we were expecting Mark and Frieda Shellenburger. Mark is my dad's first cousin, his mom was grandpa Meister's sister. They arrived around 10:30 am and we had a nice visit and enjoyed a cup of tea with some raspberry white chocolate bundt cake with fresh raspberries. Frieda stayed with mom while I took Mark around to see the place. Frieda is the horse crazy one so after we got back to the house Mark took Frieda around to see the horses before leaving for home. The mares were up and happy for the attention.
Today is the last day for the girls in Gulf Shores, they leave for home tomorrow morning. Below is the only picture they posted of their trip.
Now that's a scary picture. Give them a week of freedom and they get locked up in an insane asylum.
