LaborDay Fun

Nolan sent the text at 6:30 am that the girls were up. Breakfast was served just a few minutes later. After breakfast we did some crafts while Nolan packed up from camping in the tent.

They love doing crafts.  After they left for home Mark and I went to work on the 5th wheel, emptying all the tanks and refilling the fresh water tank. Phil and Anna brought the Salem camper back from their trip to Indiana Dunes. That was unhooked and the fridge turned off. In the afternoon we went over to put the tent away. It was too wet from the rain last night to put away in the morning. This very roomy tent sets up in seconds and also is easy to put down. We were so impressed that we talked Karin into selling it to us with the understanding she could borrow it when ever she wants. It is stored in mom's basement but we will probably send it over to Sarah and Nolan's to store. They tent a lot. At 3:25 pm we left for Rhoda and Lee's new house. Rhoda was hosting open house and everyone was invited and came. The kids had an absolute ball playing in their large back yard. The meal was delicious.

Most of the kids at out on the large deck. After dinner the guys moved their new treadmill from the garage down to their basement. Of course everyone needed to try it out. We really enjoyed visiting and playing with the kids tonight. IF you would like to see the rest of the pictures from this evening click HERE.  Below is a short video of just some of the activities.
We made it home after dark! What a fun day. Mike sent the pictures below. They DID take out some riding groups at Middle Grove. Left to right, Jewel, Taylor, Cookie, Missy and Sally.
I'm not sure who the riders are but here they are visiting the mares.
