Mares

Yesterday we had rain and a cold front come through so today was brisk with a sprinkling of rain and lots of wind. I left around 7:30 to pick up the Berean mail then stopped at Sam's to pick up a couple things for mom's house and a pecan pie. The Berean mail and the pecan pie was dropped off at the Berean office before heading home. The apartment needed to be cleaned to get ready for the next guests and now that Anna is out of town that meant I got the job. It had 2 adults 6 kids and 2 dogs in it for 2 days and 2 nights so there was quite a bit of cleaning that needed to be done. Mark got home around 2:00 pm and he and Mackenson went to work cleaning off Joan's and our solar panels. Phil worked on the barn so Taegan and Kensley came in here and we worked on some new glow in the dark glue. Hopefully tomorrow the sun will come out so we can see if it works. The mares were teased and not one mare is showing. I'm going to have to get Indy sonagrammed and short cycle her soon. She is an impressive mare at almost 17 hands. She has gorgeous foals and is such a fun ride but wow is she hard to figure out if she is in season.

Oksana has not come back in season and would be due June 7th, 2023 if she settled. She shows no interest at all in either stallion so more than likely settled.
It has been 28 days since Jury was covered, we can consider her pregnant as she always shows if she isn't pregnant and she has not come back in season. Her due date would be July 25th, 2023.
It has only been 2 weeks since Sheena was covered so I need to wait at least another week before she can be sonagrammed. If she settled she would be due Aug 8th, 2023.
Sure hope those 3 are pregnant and I really really need to get Indy pregnant. I guess a late 2023 baby is better than no 2023 baby from her.
