Even though it was Sunday and a day of rest there were still things that needed to be done. At 6:00 am after a couple cups of coffee I went to work peeling 10 pounds of potatoes. Those were put in salted water. There were a few things (like a LOT) of things to be done in the house as I just didn't get the house cleaned this week. The bathroom and kitchen needed floors scrubbed and 3 loads of laundry were done all before heading to church. We had a really great time in church. Kathy brought Nancy and after the singing she got to go to Sunday school in Joan's class again. She was so excited and turned around to wave as she was heading down the stairs. Tim Roecker had an awesome sermon To hear that click HERE. Nancy came up from Sunday school so thrilled with the paper she colored she was showing everyone. Joan said she knew all the answers and was calling them out when Joan had to tell her that she needed to let someone else answer. Craig Stickling had the afternoon message on Habakkuk to see that click HERE. We took Israel and Elisabet home with us after church. All the food was taken to the barn to cook for dinner there. Ruth brought Nancy and mom over and mom brought Miss Molly. Below mom and Nancy are watching Phil and Anna out in the gym.

Another Wonderful Sunday
Rhonda sent the picture below, they must have gone out to Middle Grove on a pontoon boat ride.
Mike went to Middle Grove and brought back Sheena and Blueberry and took them to the cabin field. We thought Sheena might be showing so she was teased to Valiant but thankfully she said no. Both Sheena and Blueberry have nice round bellies and look pregnant. Blueberry was bred to Valiant and is due May 28th, 2024 While Sheena was bred to Evan and is due July 23rd, 2024. Once they were settled he came over here to help get Basilea covered by Evan.
The dinner turned out delicious. The pork loin was tender and moist, the gravy was smooth had good flavor, there were plenty of mashed potatoes, the cheesy carrots were very cheesy and the salad had lots of toppings to add if wanted. The apple pie could have been heated up a little more but still it was good. After dinner I took the dishes to my house to stick in the dish washer. I was pleased to see how well the new barn light worked. The pink in the far right of the picture below is the last of the sunset.
The picture below was taken from our house. It is bright enough that I didn't need a flash light when heading back to the barn.
The kids had a lot of fun tonight.

The video below has some of everything but at the end Diane had to try out the batting cage.
A beautiful picture of Apollo was posted today. His owner was getting ready to go out on a trail ride with him.
Another beautiful boy out of Lily by Valiant. Lily is bred back to Valiant due March 20th, 2024 just 4 months to wait.
