Great Day

On the walk we stopped at Spark and Rhonda's house to check out their barn. It was just a limb that broke off and did all the damage. You can see where that limb broke directly above the barn.

Right after the walk I went to mom's house. My job today was to chase the squirrel off of the bird feeder and I took that job seriously. That fat squirrel almost had a heart attack. Ruth came for lunch. We had pot roast, potatoes, carrots, salad, watermelon and rolls.
Karin came home after lunch. Mark had an estimate in Atlanta, IL so once that was finished he just came straight home. I was glad, we had work to do that took the two of us. One of the jobs to do was to spread the gravel as the man coming to move the 5th wheel was coming today. We sure do appreciate that skid steer. It is the perfect tool for that job.
We needed more gravel at the front of the barn.
He also took down some brush at the fenceline.
We both worked on the old 5th wheel, I blocked it off until Monday and today it rented for Monday through Thursday. The new faucet has been shipped but won't arrive until tomorrow by 10:00 pm. When we got back to the house Faith and Mackenson were here mowing.
Joan's family are leaving tonight for the wedding in South Carolina and will be gone for a week so the mowing needed to be done today.
We had home made pizza for supper that was delicious. The man coming to move the 5th wheel told us he would be here by 6:00 pm. Mark went over to figure out the automatic leveling system.
The man arrived and a few minutes later the job was done.
After he left, we hit the automatic button and sure enough the 5th wheel magically leveled right out.  What an amazing invention that is! Mark exclaimed as he walked away, "What a great day!" I went inside and put the 3 slideouts back out. We just need water hook up and it will be ready to rent.
The best thing about this 5th wheel for us is the black water tank is very close to the dump station on the septic field. Close enough we can leave it hooked up and just pull a lever when it is time to dump.
