Not Big Enough

We all got to go on the walk this morning. We stopped at the tree with just one limb left. Such a sad looking stump but it does have character.

I did not have to leave early as Vonnie was bringing the treat in for the Berean volunteers and Skip picked up the mail so walked both rounds.  I left at 8:20 pm for the Berean office. If you would like to read about our morning there click HERE. I stayed working there until 12:15 pm then drove straight to church to meet Mark, Joan, Faith and Mackenson.  Joan pulled up at church right at 12:30 pm with the truck and trailer.
In about 20 minutes we had everything loaded.
The truck and trailer were left at church and we took my car to the Pizza Ranch for a late lunch.
After we finished Joan, Faith and Mackenson were taken back to church while I drove home to get the area of the barn cleaned out so we would have room to put the tables. At least temporarily until Mark gets the racks.  Joan backed the horse trailer up to the last bay. David was here so helped with the unloading.
I confess to taking the chair below. This was a blast from my past. We used these chairs at church when I was a little girl. This chair has to be at least 60 years old as I remember sitting in them when I was 8.
Faith, Eric and Abigail rode on the outside of the trailer as Joan took it back to the barn.

I stopped in at the 5th wheel, the memory foam mattress was all the way expanded so the bed was made and the airbed placed back under the couch in the bunk room.
David had his 2 children plus one of Israel's friends was here. Anna had all 3 of her girls here and all of the kids were playing in the barn but ready to go on a golf cart ride. We went on all of the trails. Israel saw black berries so we stopped to pick and eat lots of delicious black berries before continuing on the ride. We ended up at the creek and played in there for about 15 minutes before heading back to the barn. Below is a video of some of their fun.
Anna found an amazing leather sectional from Ashley furniture AND a leather couch with a queen size hideabed and 2 rugs, bought them all and in 2 hours it was all delivered. She and Phil moved it inside. Of course we all had to try it out. The other couch is behind the sectional but that will be moved over by the far window.
Anna put together the fan and Phil had just installed it so the sectional was placed under the fan.
When we left the barn all 3 mowers were busy mowing. Faith was mowing the new barn yard, Joan and Mackenson were mowing mom's yard and also Joan had started the burn pile on fire.
Now that we have tables we needed chairs so after the kids left Mark and I drove to Sam's club to check out their chairs.  We had a choice of white or black.
The black was more comfortable to sit in and a little lighter than the white. They were both the same price of $24.99. The white was rated for more pounds but heavier and not as comfortable. We were debating when we ran into Randy and Brenda.
They helped make up our minds by trying out both chairs and both of them agreed, the black is more comfortable. We ended up buying 1 black and will buy 99 more if we can find a place to store them until needed. I knew it,  the barn is just not big enough! I'm wondering if maybe we can hang them on the wall in a closet. We shall see. I think we still need to build some benches as we need seating for at least everyone in the Meister family which is now more than 170 people. We always had a bench at our tables growing up, I remember dad building some. We could easily fit 6 or 7 little kids on a bench.
