Saturday Working Day

It was already hot and muggy when I went out to check Jewel and Hadassah, put them back in the paddock and clean up the indoor arena. Both udders were down from yesterday. Mark wanted left over pizza for breakfast. Right after that was done I went to mom's to brush her hair then to Sam's Club to pick up food for Sunday dinner. When I got home the horse back riders were here. They had 6 horses out on the trails. Lily was put in the field then I went to work getting a bale in the breeding shed shelter. The tractor has the bush hog mower on the back so this took some finagling to make it work. The bale was first just dumped over the fence into the paddock, then the tractor and mower backed in slowly. That paddock is on a slant and is not that wide. I was able to back in, turn around enough to knock the bale down, spear it then turn the tractor around facing the shed and drive it in. I also moved a bale in the cabin field. Tomorrow the riding horses will be moved over. They will be so excited to be able to get out on the grass. Faith and Mackenson showed up to mow today.

I needed to take a few pictures of the 2011 camping trailer for the RV Share website.
The kitchen has a nice big double sink and the dinette can easily fit 4 or more people when sitting and is supposed to fit 2 children or 1 adult for sleeping. The sofa is a jack knive sofa and easily pulls out and down making a comfortable twin size bed big enough for an adult.

The camper also has a nice bathroom sink.
The bathroom has a tub shower combo which really helps when bathing the young ones. By the way this camper also has an outdoor hot and cold shower.
Above shows the full size bunk, above is a twin bunk, the television and part of the dinette. Below is the outside of the trailer. Notice the power awning, windows for the bunks and the big window for he dinette.  The camper door also has the extra grip. There is storage under the bunks that can be accessed from outside or inside.
A real time saver is the large 30 pounds double propane tanks on the front. This is for the furnace plus it heats the hot water and runs the fridge when the camper is not plugged in.
The outdoor shower is pictured below near the rear of the trailer.  The water, sewer and electrical hookups are all on this side of the trailer.
A real plus to this camper is the large 2 way fridge and freezer. It also has a microwave AND an oven. So many campers no longer install an oven.
I was actually really impressed with how well designed this trailer is for a family and yet is small enough that it isn't at all hard to pull. David and Stephanie's family will be the first one's using  in a couple weeks for the big canoe trip in Montauk State Park in Missouri. David dropped off Israel and Elisabet this afternoon as they had a wedding, a graduation and then testimonies tonight. Israel and Elisabet were taken on a golf cart ride but we first has to stop and see the progress on the new barn.
The foals were all enjoying the sunshine today. Below is Lola's colt taking a nap. He was so sound asleep that he didn't even hear me come up to take the picture.
Jewel and Hadassah were given the big field today. Check out the baby bump on Jewel!
Hadassah also has a big baby bump but not quite as large as Jewel's.
They explored the entire field before finding the best place to drop and roll.

Mark and I needed to get ready for church so Israel and Elisabet played nicely together while waiting for us with the new domino train.
Mom ate supper tonight at Joan's house. Joan really had a houseful as Bethany, Bill and their 3 children arrived in time for supper. We all left for the testimonies around 6:15 pm. Faith went first, then Justin Ricketts and finally Mackenson. It really was a blessed evening.
