We were able to walk this morning for the first time since last Friday.
We stopped in at Diane's and Rosalie and her filly were looking in the window. The picture below almost looked like a painting.
The rain finally stopped. After the walk mom's phone made what sounded like someone pounding on a church tower bell 3 times. Diane worked on the phone to remove that sound and turned off all notifications in hopes that would get rid of the bonging sound. This started a couple days ago, just randomly letting off 3 very loud BONGS. As the rain finally stopped Evan was turned out into the field.
He was so photogenic until he found a wonderful muddy
spot to roll in and had to cover himself completely.
At that point the camera was turned off.
The men showed up with the perma-columns and started digging with their skid steer.
This barn is going to really happen! This has been a dream of mine for about 30 years. Anna had a meeting this morning so the girls came over to play. Today I had something special for them to play with. Each one was given 2 shear curtain panels. Below are a few of their inventions.Even Emma got in on this fun.

Taegan and Kensley wanted to have golf cart driving lessons. Check out the video below. That is 8 year old Taegan teaching 6 year old Kensley how to drive.
We drove the golf cart over to the pond pasture and let the mares and foals out on that for the first time in 3 days. The foals had so much fun bucking, play fighting and running.
IF you would like to see the rest of the pictures of the horses click HERE. The foal pictures are right after Evan's pictures. When Anna picked up the girls I started the outdoor chores. The middle paddock needed a bale. Sangria and Cookie needed a bale and I put a bale in Ribbon's old paddock, fixed the low side of the fence and put Evan in there. His paddock is just too muddy and wet. Mark was home by the time I finished so we had an early supper then got ready for church. Craig Stickling had the message on the End Times study reading Revelations 7 and 8. The time always seems to be so short and the ministers quit too soon. During church Mom's phone went off with those 3 loud bongs so what ever Diane did didn't help. Mom's phone was on silent so these bongs don't seem to respond even to the silent mode. Sarah Reinhart worked on her phone but does not know where or why the sound happened so not sure if she was able to fix it.
