I went out early to check the horses and found Mika and Ripper sleeping in the hay. They had destroyed the round bale, made a nice comfortable bed and Mika was so sound asleep he didn't wake up when I reached in to take the picture.
After coming back inside the house was cleaned up and the rice for tonight's dinner cooked. We picked mom up for church at 9:10 am and passed Spark coming back from the jail while we were on our way to church. They only had 1 service at the jail today so he drove back to pick up Rhonda. Church was pretty full as today Peoria was having the baptisms for Faith, Mackenson and Justin. Fred Witzig was visiting and had the morning message and then a shortened afternoon message. Tim Funk and Craig Stickling did the baptisms. The little ones all got to go up front to watch. Mark and I didn't stay for the dinner as I needed to get the food going for our dinner here. Everyone made it to dinner tonight including Taunya's dad Ron. The little kids eat in the family room and the rest of us crowd into the living room.
After supper we all ended up at the playground for the volley ball games. Rachel took the video below of one of the volleys. They were really fun to watch.
We had a good cheering section.
The kids have just as much fun as the volley ball players.
Rachel and David and heading out West tomorrow morning. We checked out the trailer last night. Rachel completely remodeled this trailer on the inside and repaired the outside.
She put a kitchen in the front with fridge, microwave shelves and plenty of storage, a small portapot closet in the middle along with a sink and more shelves, and the back has a very rooming bed, a television, lots of cupboards and drawers. Below is looking to at the front of the camper.Everyone stayed quite late. As David was leaving we noticed one of his headlights were out. David had a spare in his car so Israel got out to help.
Philip actually had the tool needed and soon they were all on their way home. The sunset was gorgeous tonight.
