Reprieve!

Darcy was taken to Dunlap Vet clinic II where Rhoda works right after the walk. Dr. Lissa Calhoun sedated her to check her out and she feels yes it is a cruciate ligament tear but refused to put her down. Dr. Lissa wants to try to fix it herself and has scheduled Darcy for surgery early tomorrow morning. Once she opens her up we will know if it can be repaired or not giving Darcy a 24 hour reprieve. Last night Rhoda gave Darcy a big juicy rib-eye steak for her last meal. She will not be treated so well tonight. She is spending the night at the clinic and won't be allowed to eat or drink 12 hours before surgery. I know she is just a dog but we all love Darcy and covet prayers on her behalf.
