Jozsef
Jozsef Davidovics is fencing the the stallion pasture in today. He showed up early, actually during our walk and of course we refused to help him until after the walk, we must get in our exercise before laboring!
Mytross came in season yesterday and had to be moved from behind Raven's paddock into an empty paddock next to the ponies. All evening long we heard Mytross screaming at Ella and Ella screaming back. What is it with mares?
Cor Arianna was moved out of the breeding shed paddock and into the pasture behind Raven's paddock. She is a hard keeper and needs to be on grass. Her owner wants her to stay until she can be sonagrammed.
This morning Raven covered Mytross and Evan covered Ciera.
After vaulting today we are hauling Paris, Ella, Lilypony and Larry out to Middle Grove. Ciera and Hadassah will go early next week. As soon as Mytross is confirmed in foal she needs to go out there to get acquainted with the riding horses, she needs to learn how to be a trail horse and how to get along with the herd. Mytross is such a boss mare but so is Lily, Sangria, Mika, Jenis, and Ribbon and they've all learned how to get along. It is important to let horses work out their own pecking order where there is lots of room, preferable 80 acres.
Airiah will be picked up tomorrow now that she is out.
