Africa Reunion
We are leaving this morning for a weekend in Wheaton, IL. Mark's track team went on an 8 week tour playing all the Africa's national teams. This was in 1972 and their team had the opportunity to play the teams going to the Olympics that year. We will stay in the dorms and eat in the cafeteria and for this privilege pay only $300.00. We will have the Ipad and be able to check emails but not post pictures.
Karin will be staying at the farm taking care of the dogs and horses. Tomorrow is senior high AC girls camp and this will be the first year I'm not helping but Karin has lots of help coming and all should be well. Emily Ricketts and Rhoda will be the guide riders most of the time. I'm sure there will be other volunteers to give them a break once in a while. The biggest complaint we have from the trail guides is how sore the bum gets sitting in the saddle that many hours.
They will be riding at the Herman Lake in the Sky in Norris, IL. Nate Herman caught this fish a couple of days ago out of this same lake:
Are we sure this lake is safe? Those fish have TEETH!
