Jonathan Wentz
2011 USEF Para-Equestrian National Champion and 2010 WEG rider Jonathan Wentz has had a banner year and is looking forward to riding NTEC Richter Scale and Silvano in his first Paralympic Selection Trials. His hard work and dedication has paid off in 2012 earning an Individual World Ranking of 10th overall.
His Great uncle Chet Wentz, is one of our graders at Berean Prison Ministry and has been volunteering for us for years. He writes below:
Judy: I thought you'd be interested in email below re my grand-nephew, Jonathan Wentz, of Dallas, TX (a Junior at SMU). Note paragraph half-way down page 2 stating Jonathan was the 2011 USEF Para-Equestrian national champion and currently holds the position of #10 overall Individual World-wide Ranking.
He is currently competing in Gladstone, NJ, for one of 4 spots on the US Para-Equestrian Dressage Team which will be going to London this year for the 2012 Olympics! Not bad for a kid born with and who has labored with cerebral palsy all his life. I'm very proud of him! -- Chet
