Middle Grove Check UP

We enjoyed the walk today but when we reached Joan's house realized Molly wasn't with us. Turned out Molly had been left in the house when mom and Ruth came out and they didn't even realize Molly wasn't with them.
As soon as we were done the truck and trailer were hooked up then taken to Middle Grove to pick up Rosalie. I took along and extra halter just in case any of the mares were showing signs of delivering early. Irish is the next mare due May 1st then we have a long break until Tori who is due May 26th. Tori was not bagged up at all but Roxanne, due June 5th was a little. Not enough to bring her home but enough that I will need to be going out to check on her more often. It was dry enough I was able to drive the truck and trailer in and up to the top of the hill where the horses were grazing. They quickly surrounded the truck and trailer.
The black mare to the left of the picture above is Rosaleigh and Madiera is the bay standing next to her. Behind Rosaleigh is Sheena and behind Madiera is Rosalie. Skye is to the right and Ripper is the gray. Below are Mika and Lily. They are the elders of the herd.

Above and below is Jenis. She is looking wonderful.

Rosaleigh pictured above is due June 22nd while Roxanne and Tatiana pictured below are due June 5th and July 13th.
Below, left to right are Jewel, Rosaleigh and Madiera. All three were bred to Evan Jewel is due June 15th, Rosaleigh due June 22nd and Madiera due June 20th.
Josiah and Joshua came running up and both followed me around like lost puppies. They were so glad to see a human.
Behind Josiah is Isla, Madiera's 2018 filly by Valiant. Check out her mane and forelock. She really did inherit the mega hair. She will be 2 years old in about 3 weeks and just happens to be for sale for only $7000.00 She is ready to start training AND can be bred at age 3 to Evan for a reduced stud fee. She is pictured below on Oct 22nd, 2019 and actually has MUCH more hair now along with being quite a bit taller. This is a gorgeous Warlander filly.
Below is Joshua.
Joshua went right over to his dam Madiera and the two starting grooming each other.
If you would like to see the rest of the pictures from Middle Grove click HERE. Rosalie was loaded up and brought home. She was teased first then taken to the outdoor arena for some updated pictures for the website.
She is now 7 years old and a solid 17 + hands. She is just magnificent.

She is also athletic and moves very nicely for such a big mare.
She was put in the middle paddock with her full sister Ayanna.
On the way back to the house I took the picture below of Oksana and her colt in the shelter with Indy behind them.
Sarah arrived with Zion and Eden so we went out to see the horses. Below Zion is feeding Rosalie some grass while Ayanna waits her turn.
Check out Rosalie's neck as she checks out baby Eden.
We next went to see Irish.

Next we took a golf cart ride. On the way to the trails we saw David and his dog Zero fishing. The lake was so still that their reflections were almost mirror perfect.

We went on a long ride before coming back to the house. Zion and Eden found the Just-their-size chairs.
Eden was entertained by Zion's antics
We had rumbling of thunder and a few drops of rain this evening but the storm missed us. We are expecting a lot of rain Friday afternoon through Saturday. That should really help the grass grow.
