6 to 8 Inches of WET HEAVY SNOW

All the news stations were reporting on this big snow storm coming. This was serious. This snow that would be falling would be wet and very heavy and as the television announcer says, "this is the heart attack snow!" So Rachel is the first that posts a picture of this wet heavy snow and she writes: "I don't care what you don't see. . This is 6-8" of snow!!! I heard it on the news so it's true
I wrote in right away: "We got the same Rachel,
not sure how we are going to get it all cleared off. 6 to 8 inches of HEAVY Wet and according to the news, heart attack snow, and the worst is we can't even see it to clean it off. I wouldn't let Mark even try.
Joan reported that she is doing her part.
Then Rachel responded:
" it's good you went out and shoveled, otherwise it would prove that you don't care about others. Because even if there's no snow at your house.. just in case someone in the next county did get snow it's the right thing to do... You know, because someone in another county could slip and fall in another county... There could be a slipping epidemic... Our hospitals could end up overwhelmed... Businesses should be shut down... Schools should be closed.. Government shouldn't go to work (so nothing different for them ), we all really should just stay in our houses... Just in case ... And wait on the government to send us checks ."
Hmm, this kind of reminds me of something else that is going on in America right now. Thankfully the roads, even with all that snow, were drive-able and I took the Prius to Pekin, IL to pick up 600 pounds of grain at Stock and Field then to Aldi to pick up $88.00 of groceries. I stopped at Ruth and Fedi's first to borrow a mask as I wasn't sure if you MUST wear a mask to go grocery shopping but in both stores masks were not required. When I got back David was here to drop off Rizzy and he helped unload the groceries and all that grain.  Israel and Elisabet helped with the feeding of the horses. The water heater in the house did not stay working and we discovered it was 8 years old and out of warranty.  Mark called Meister Plumbing and they sent a plumber out quickly. He arrived as David was leaving. We got a brand new water heater today. Not really what we wanted to spend our stimulus money on but thankful we had the money and VERY thankful for hot water.  Soul and her filly were taken outside this afternoon for updated pictures for the website then I took the video below. She is just two days old and was thrilled to use those long legs running around her mama.

The star on her forehead looks like a candle flame. I am thrilled she is doing well and is perfectly normal in every way!
This evening Joan, Ruth and I went to mom's for games.  Diane called while we were there to ask us to post this:
