Active 2 DAY Old

We had another cold morning but the sun was out and by afternoon warmed up.  Karin took out a group trail riding. She rode Galena and reported Galena did very well on the trails. No pictures though I was busy with Lola's filly getting a video and pictures of this 2 day old filly. She is SO full of energy.

I realized later that none of the pictures taken showed how the white on her back goes so waited until she was taken back to the stall and laying down to take another picture.
Her markings are quite striking. Below is a short video of her galloping around Lola her very first time out of the stall.
Once they were put back in the stall I took the golf cart over to mom's to pick up some dishes that were left there. Mom had her painting kit out and was touching up a painting. Mom is a very talented artist.
This afternoon Mackenson came over to help Mark mow.
Since Mark had help, he used the skid steer to remove the Japanese Maple that died over the winter.

Stephanie and Israel picked up Rizzy today. Rizzy and Israel were so glad to be back together. I snapped the picture below and titled it Sheer Joy.
Our airbnb guests arrived and were greeted by Emma and Pax.
They were given a quick tour, looked at the new baby then I headed in to make supper while Mark finished cleaning the paddock next to Evan's.  Tonight we had seafood stir fry made with onions, a red pepper, carrots, asparagus, celery, mushrooms, spinach, shrimp and crab seasoned with soy sauce and served on a bed of rice. We had skipped lunch and this tasted delicious.
Soul was stalled tonight. She is not waxing but we have had thunder storms come through and I don't want a baby born in the rain so am taking no chances.
