The thermometer is reading 12 degrees, neither the dogs NOR I want to go outside this morning. Surely this isn't normal temperatures for this time of year. Mark was commenting last night we have already burned thousands of pounds of wood and December has only just started. It is so tempting to crawl back into the nice warm soft bed with our eider down comforter and not get up to face the world today.
Mark had leave after supper last night to help a lady with NO heat, I am very thankful we have heat. The evening was spent in front of a roaring fire reading.
Steven will be at the farm this morning to help move in a round bale and bale ring in the breeding shed paddock. So NO skipping the walk today.
The brilliant fall colors are all gone now and all seems black and white. Bob Ganglof took the picture below of Raven years ago. It is still one of my favorites to remind me there is still beauty in black and white.
