Another hot day, except just as we finished the walk a storm moved in and the rain cooled the air a bit. Once the storm left and the sun came out the outside felt like an oven. I went to Diane's office to balance the horsemeister check book and of all days to get done quick today was the day. It was nice and cool in Diane's office. We still only have a window air conditioner. The new unit is here but the man power is not. Rhoda has offered to call a good heating and air conditioning company but in all honesty the window air is keeping up with this small house except when we have company or I cook. This may be a good thing. It was too hot to work any horses. Evan was moved back into his own paddock before the storm hit. Our neighbor to the south up before the curve sent the next two pictures.
Tumnus has been visiting her and brought a friend. We are all thrilled he survived the winter AND hunting season. She told me he helps her clean out the garden. I'm not sure this is a good thing, other neighbors may not be as welcoming if he is helping himself to the neighbors gardens. This evening was family night at the fellowship hall. Marvin & Gale along with Spark & Rhonda served dinner to around 120 people before Ryan Funk had the message. Below are a few pictures of the evening.
