Eye of the Beholder

After breakfast Mark drove the car in to Hanna City to fill the car up with gas. Casey's had gas delivered last night.  He then left early for church so he could make the early morning singing. Mom and I came separate. After church all of the family came here for dinner and then to celebrate Elisabet's birthday. Below is a short video of the birthday song for Elisabet.

Below are a few pictures of the of our meal.

Next came the birthday party.

River was watching the chaos.

Poor Abe Judah fell sound asleep in the back hall.
I think Rhoda and Lee cleaned up the dishes tonight. I took the kids to the playground. Below is Bethany with her new little daughter Anni Marie. They were watching the volleyball players.

The kids went down to swim and were playing ball in the lake then when Joan brought over the sail boat they all got to take a turn sailing.

I went in and played games with mom, Joan, Sarah and Bethany.  When we came out of mom's house almost everyone had left. They had a beautiful camp fire but the kids all have school tomorrow so everyone left early. We had a nice review come in from our airbnb guests.
Judy had an AMAZING place! The experience was second to none. The horses were so lovely and welcoming! The grounds were gorgeous and the sunset BEAUTIFUL! We will for sure be back :)         Well I guess I need to open my eyes sometimes to see the beauty around here instead old fences and shelters that need to be replaced. Beauty really is in the eye of the beholder and mine has not been beholding green pastures, beautiful horses and nice barns, instead my eyes were dwelling on the work waiting to be done and seeing that there is not enough time or money to get it all done.
