More Storms

It wasn't raining for our walk but the storms moved in pretty quick after. It was a good day to do laundry and clean the house and of course AC Central was turned on while I worked. I really am thankful for that service. The men working on the barn had to quit a couple times as each storm rolled through. Emily, Caleb's wife was home in Gibson City which got around 10 inches of rain. The flooding was shocking for Emily. They were packing to move and almost everything got flooded in their house. Emily sent the pictures below.

Caleb was working in Tremont and the roads were closed getting into the city so he could not make it home. Below is a video from the meteorologist Kevin Lighty.

Thankfully we didn't get that much rain and what fell really gave our fields a good drink. We should have a decent second cutting. Mark and I watched Sarah and Nolan's 3 girls this evening so they could have a date night. We had a lot of fun playing with them.
Zion got on the rocking horse and accidently pinched Eden's right foot. She fussed a bit and a band aid always makes an ouchie feel better but she wanted the band aid on the left foot.

She was very pleased with the band aid. Grandpa took both girls for a golf cart ride to drop some garbage off at the dumpster.

He took them to the alligator swamp and then back here. River took a nap while they were gone but they were pretty excited and loud when they came back in and that woke up River. The only picture I took of River was when her parents came back to take them home. Otherwise she was in my arms the entire evening. She is such a sweet baby.
They are left at 6:55 pm and at 7:00 pm Ruth, Rhonda, Joan and I met at mom's house to play games. We had a fun evening playing and visiting.
