Right after the walk today Oksana was taken over and teased to Evan. I was pretty thrilled when she emphatically said no. She was right at 21 days. If she conceived she would be due June 25th, 2022. Her ultrasound is scheduled for Aug 17th. Karin came today to work with Evan, Berlica, Rosabella and Rochelle. They round penned him then asked him to bow and lay down. Then they asked him to stay down while the girls loved on him, sat on him and even stood on him. He really IS a special stallion.

Sweet Evan
Today was packing day. We are heading out tomorrow to go camping. Mark and I get to stay in the new FSX trailer, Phil and Anna's family are staying in the other FSX trailer while Ben and Taunya will be staying in the motorhome. We are going to a private campground near Davenport Iowa that is set up well for children. The fridge had been turned on making the food easy to pack. Joan came over and helped put the hooks up on the new trailer. I still need to find a paper towel holder but that will be done after we get back. When Mark got home I had him help move a bale in for Valiant. All the paddocks have plenty of hay and this is the first time we are leaving that we don't need to hire anyone to stay at the house as we no longer have a dog. We really do still miss Emma. Mostly when there are scraps to be used up or food dropped on the floor. It was always her job to clean those up. No pictures of the progress on the barn but they got steel all up on the south side. They also came over to the indoor arena and fixed the big sliding door for us. I am thankful to get that fixed before winter.
