Mindy

Rhoda came over after church to help get a new driving video of Mindy. We were very pleasantly surprised at Mindy's driving, we hadn't driven her for a year and forgot to ask Emily if she drove her. She stood quietly for hitching and didn't put a foot wrong. Rhoda took her over to the cabin, in the field and asked her to drive through the tall grass, up and down hills and finally asked her to pony Ella. While Rhoda was working with Mindy Steven Marchal was working with Valiant. Finally the weather is cool enough to ask the horses to do more than just walk. Valiant was taken out in the field and asked to lunge.

Valiant has amazing reach! After we were done video taping Mindy Rhoda unhitched her and worked on her bow. Mindy Remembered!

As long as Ella was out, Rhoda asked her to bow, lay down, stay down, then get up with her on her. Ella also remembered and was quick to obey.

Rhoda just seems to have a special relationship with this pony! There was no volleyball here today, it was moved to the Herman Lake in Norris, IL.
