Shadow Update

Hello, U of I called right before I left work. Shadow: she is getting up much better, feeding tube is out, she is drinking out of a bucket very well, blood work came back much better!! All good news on our beautiful filly! They are very pleased with where she is at. Airiah:milk is coming in some, still gets upset if her belly or udders are touched, more curious about Shadow, tried putting Shadow in front of her today but she tried to bite her, she is getting a little jealous of all the the attention Shadow is getting. Please keep praying, we appreciate all your thoughts and prayers. I will let you know more when we know more! Jenni Thanks Jenni we won't stop praying Airiah falls in love with her baby. Today is another beautiful day with bright sunshine and warm temperatures. We had kind of a rough night, went to bed at a decent time and was sound asleep when all three smoke alarms start up with a piercing pulsing scream. Mark jumped out of bed but there was no way to turn them off. All three alarms are installed up on the 12 foot high ceilings of this apartment. There was no smoke, no fire, nothing inside that should have caused these to go off. All of the windows were opened so Mark ran outside to check the big barn in case the hay was burning but again, no smoke, no fire, not even the smell of smoke in the area. We had to climb back in bed with our fingers in our ears to dim the sound for the next 10 minutes. The dogs were so traumatized both were trying to climb into our bed, at least it seemed that way both huge heads pushing at the mattress trying to tell us to TURN THAT OFF! At least when things finally did settle down they finished the night in their own beds.
