Ribbon IN
We noticed Ribbon showing yesterday, she was taken over to Raven and promptly covered. She will be taken over again tomorrow. The 18 alfalfa bales from the neighbors were delivered by the time I arrived home from work, last night Mark worked on moving them into the barn. It was a good thing they were moved inside we had a rain shower during the night. While Mark was working on those, Mike was working with Earl's 2 year old.
We found her to be sweet but shy. Earl had not done anything with her but she really wants to please. By the time Mike was done she was following him around in the paddock. He led her out to the arena and let her loose so we could see her movement. That was impressive.
Big open show-off trot along with a floating canter impressed us. She is currently priced at $4000.00 and comes with a reduced stud fee to Evan next spring. I don't know how long she will be for sale, Mike really likes her and wants Horsemeister to purchase her. Diane and I are still resisting. She stands right at 15 hands as a 2 year old and should end up 16 hands or better.
Jenni Moser emailed with an update on Airiah's Shadow. Shadow has an infection, they are changing medicines, but is getting up and very alert, so they are still hopeful. They are not giving up on Airiah either(they said they have seen much worse).
Jenni would rather not sell her, she states, "I would MUCH rather keep Shadow. She has the temperament we were looking for in a horse, she is very intelligent and has the regal bearing of the Friesian. She will make an outstanding mare that I would be proud to show."
We will remove her ad from the website and place Jenni's 2 year old Raven filly for sale on the website. She is by Raven and out of their late Trakehner mare, Salina. Her registered name is Isabella's Song. This filly has been handled from birth, up to date with everything, good for the vet, good for the farrier and is very sweet. Check out her information on our for sale page on the horsemeister website. She sent a few pictures now, once they are not as busy will send more pictures and make a video of her fantastic movement.
They are only asking $4000.00 and this is for a 2 year old Raven daughter. Don't forget she qualifies for the reduced stud fee to Evan next spring. What a way for a quick payback!
